Art as Resistance is a series of programs using artivism as a tool for messaging to express, empower, and educate the community. Programs can be adjusted for all ages, topics, and various spaces, such as schools, nonprofits, community centers, etc.

This intergenerational event is designed to engage community members through multiple forms of artivism. From watching a documentary to critiquing art through a gallery walk to attendees creating their very own resistance posters! This event idea can be adjusted to any topic and art medium.

Artivism Internship
Echoes of Liberation:
Art as Resistance

This internship program is designed to empower high school juniors and seniors through the fusion of art and activism, also known as artivism. The program will focus on various artistic mediums, social justice issues in the community, and the effective use of social media to share their messages. By the end of the program, students will complete a final project that integrates all they have learned!
